Advice is hiring for Performance Millwork and Finishes Ltd., a high-end millwork company located in Nassau, Bahamas. Key responsibilities include managing custom millwork and architectural projects from design approval through fabrication and installation, coordinating with clients, architects, general contractors, and internal teams, interpreting architectural drawings and specifications for project execution, developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets, monitoring production and installation to ensure quality and adherence to plans, leading project meetings and providing regular updates to stakeholders, managing project documentation, identifying potential risks or delays and developing mitigation strategies, working on-site during installations and supporting multiple ongoing projects, performing take-offs and preparing budgets, producing or revising shop drawings as needed, and supporting administrative tasks related to project management.
We are looking for an Architecture Project Manager to be based in the Bahamas. This role is responsible for managing projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, deadlines, and budgets. Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in project management within architecture, construction, millwork, or related industries. Willingness to learn about millwork processes and develop technical knowledge in the field.
Strong hands-on attitude, comfortable working on site and engaging directly with production and installation activities. Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar). Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and professional Spanish. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of carpentry or millwork fabrication/installation is considered a plus, not a requirement.
A background in architectural studies is an asset.
