This hospital is an active facility providing anesthesia and surgical services across a broad range of specialties within an organized operating room program. The facility maintains established perioperative workflows designed to support quality patient care delivery. Locum tenens anesthesiologist coverage is sought to address current staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

Delaware offers a range of attractions suited to diverse interests. The region provides access to coastal scenery, wildlife destinations such as Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, and cultural stops including the Smyrna Opera House and Delmarva Discovery Tours. Visitors may also explore the Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library, the Brandywine Railroad display featuring over 1,000 pieces across 2,000 feet of track, the Riverfront in Wilmington with restaurants, shopping, and walking trails, as well as an antiques trail and local breweries throughout the area.

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services during day shifts at an operating room facility in Delaware, with call required at a minimum of 1 week per month, including 2-3 weeknights of CV call with hours from 7 PM to 7 AM and 1 weekend of CV call on 24-hour shifts with a 30-minute callback requirement. The surgical case mix includes cardiac, thoracic, general surgery, orthopedic, OB, GYN, ENT, urology, endoscopy, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry procedures.

CRNAs participate in every CV case as part of the staffing model. Board certification in Anesthesiology and TEE certification are required for all clinicians in this role; fellowship training is not required.
