• Provide critical psychiatric care in community-based settings
• Support individuals living with serious mental illness

As a Psychiatrist
, you will:

• Provide in-person psychiatric services across approximately 8-12 Mental Health Group Homes throughout Delaware.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication assessments.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment.
• Respond to psychiatric emergencies in person or by telephone as needed.
• Order, review, and interpret medications and laboratory testing.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation, including progress notes and psychiatric assessments.
• Review and update treatment plans, summaries, evaluations, and other required clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with treatment teams, community providers, and support agencies to ensure continuity of care.
• Support compliance with licensing standards, best practices, and organizational values.

• MD or DO with Board Certification in Psychiatry, or completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency with prescribing privileges in the State of Delaware.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with adults diagnosed with serious mental illness.
• Minimum of three (3) years of outpatient psychiatric experience.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Delaware to provide services at multiple residential locations.

• Experience providing psychiatric care in residential or community-based behavioral health settings.
• Experience working with adults receiving intensive behavioral health services.

• Regular travel between assigned locations throughout Delaware
• Flexible scheduling available based on program needs
• Occasional evening, weekend, or emergency consultation coverage may be required

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs as needed.
