Computer Skills Teacher part-time daytime

Position: Computer Skills Teacher - (part-time daytime, 6-9 hours/week, available immediately)
Location: Woodside

Students are adult learners (age 18+) who are clients at the Delaware Department of Labor Job Centers in Wilmington, Newark and Georgetown. This position requires travel to 3 different state offices to provide instruction. The teacher is responsible for the development and implementation of instructional plans, as well as ongoing learner assessment. Classes are 100% in person and require instructor ability to adapt to individual student learning needs;

course content is supplemented by an online learning platform.

Qualifications:

Successful candidate will be DOE licensed in one or more content areas at the elementary, secondary or adult level. Services are provided in multiple locations (Wilmington, Newark and Georgetown) up to 3 days per week during business hours. Qualified candidates could combine this position with the Reading/Math Skills Teacher position posted below. Any offer of employment is conditional upon favorable professional references, negative TB test, and favorable criminal background check.

The starting rate of pay is $33/hour.
