Position
Temporary, casual/seasonal Special Education Teaching position for the 2026 Summer School Program supporting Caesar Rodney Countywide Programs.

CR Countywide Programs.
- Eligible or possess Special Education Teacher of Students with Disabilities teacher certification.
- All candidates must apply online.
- Must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for Special Education.
Applicants external to the Caesar Rodney School District will be hired as temporary, casual/seasonal employees.
PROGRAM DETAILSSummer School 2026 will be held from July 7, 2026 to August 3, 2026. The program will run Monday – Thursday only. No school on Fridays.
There will be two Teacher In-service Days:
July 6, 2026 (full day) and August 4, 2026 (half day).
- CRCWP Student Hours – 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- CRCWP Staff Hours – 7:45 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Lunch and planning determined by CWP Administration.
SALARY AND BENEFITSIndividuals will be paid $39.36/hr and will be paid only for hours worked. Temporary, casual/seasonal employees are not eligible for leave or other benefits.
PRE‑EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS- Provide official transcripts, updated resume, and three letters of recommendation.
- All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
- Anyone offered employment must provide proper identification, documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of Form I-9, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
