Upper and Middle School Music Long-Term Substitute
The Sanford Performing Arts Department is looking for a semester-long Upper School and Middle School instrumental music teacher. The position would begin on September 28th, 2026
, and end on December 18th, 2026
. Please review the position description. Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in music education or another music degree with a teaching certification and have experience teaching at the secondary level. The position requires teaching the following courses:
Upper School Concert Band, Upper School Rock Band, 7th and 8th Grade Concert Band, Upper School Music Technology, 7th and 8th Grade Percussion Exploration, and possibly Upper School Music Theory.
