Alexis I. du Pont High School is currently seeking energetic and motivated Secondary Math candidates to teach Math.

Must be certified in Mathematics

• Teach Mathematics to High School students.
• Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Prepare for assigned classes and provide written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Assess student accomplishments regularly, provide required reports, and notify parents as necessary.
• Diagnose learning disabilities as needed, seeking assistance from district specialists.
• Takes all necessary precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and regulation.
• Works cooperatively with all staff and parents.
