Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. As a Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere that promotes the holistic development of children. Your role will involve designing age-appropriate lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and collaborating with families to support each child's unique needs.

- FL DCF 45 hours
- CDA and/or qualifying Lead Teacher credentials
- Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to support early childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective behavior management strategies are in place.
- Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, address concerns, and support their welfare through regular updates and meetings.
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and childcare staff to uphold high standards of classroom management and childcare practices.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Integrate special education techniques and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse learning needs.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, including toddler care and preschool experience.
- Expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare centers or private schools.
- Proficiency in teaching physical education, literacy education, math, and tutoring methods suitable for young learners.
- Familiarity with Montessori educational approaches and standardized testing procedures.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies for children with special needs or requiring early intervention services.
