About the Position

We seek an experienced infant teacher to join our team at The Learning Experience SE Lakeland. The role involves creating a welcoming, engaging classroom space for infants and toddlers, implementing the proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, and communicating with parents through mobile apps and personal discussions. You will partner with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement goals and build relationships with families and coworkers.

Responsibilities
  • Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play, and grow.
  • Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  • Implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® with infants, toddlers, or preschool children, adapting to each child's unique needs.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  • Communicate regularly with parents, sharing children’s latest adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
  • Partner with the daycare center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.
  • Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications
  • Passion for the education and care of children.
  • 1 year of professional teaching experience required (2 years preferred).
  • High school diploma/GED required; associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Applicable state licensing requirements for the role.

Compensation

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
