Early Childhood Education; ECE Special Education Teacher - Felton, Delaware

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Special Education Teacher working with preschool through early elementary students. In this role, youll make a meaningful impact each day, providing specialized instruction and advocacy for children ages 25 with unique learning needs including Autism and developmental delays. Youll work 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, through the  school year, collaborating with families and school teams to create inclusive, supportive learning environments.

• Valid Early Childhood Special Education Certification (Birth2nd Grade)
• Experience supporting preschool and early childhood students (ages 25) with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both families and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment

• Deliver individualized and group instruction adapted to diverse learning needs
• Manage, develop, and update IEPs in collaboration with families and support staff
• Utilize evidence-based strategies, data collection, and progress monitoring to help each student reach their potential
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and school events as required
