Salary Range: $50,748.10 To $50,748.10 Annually

We support the Job Corps program's mission of teaching eligible young people the skills they need to become employable and independent and placing them in meaningful jobs or further their education.

Provides engaging instruction, administers tests, and evaluates student progress, understanding, and proficiency in assigned field of Culinary Arts.

• Provides students with industry-recognized instruction and training.
• Develops and prepares lessons; recommends curricula changes and supplemental materials.
• Administers and corrects tests; logs and maintains progress and attendance.
• Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional resources to meet the needs of the students with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
• Manages the classroom by moving about the room to tutor, coach, evaluate, and assist each student as the need arises.
• Motivates and counsels students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems or study habits.
• Evaluates and supervise students in an on‑job training experience.
• Participates in providing hands‑on activities for students in the career preparation program.

• Experience must meet the state or professional trade organization requirements.
