Electrical Senior Engineer – Steam Generator Replacement

This position is for the Steam Generator Replacement project at Beaver Valley and will frequently work independently to identify and perform tasks necessary to meet Vistra objectives.

Supports the gathering and analysis of information necessary for Vistra initiatives, solves complex problems, and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Identify and perform tasks as required to meet objectives
• Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
• Coordinate assigned projects, studies, and initiatives through completion
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
• Participate in, and on occasion lead, special projects and committees, including with external organizations
• Lead complex problem‑solving efforts

• At least 4 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program
• Minimum 6 years of relevant job experience

• Teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries
• Effective communication of complex issues through written and verbal channels
• Influencing by establishing effective working relationships across organizational boundaries
• In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships
• Ability to evaluate technical alternatives in light of their economic contribution
• Application of systematic problem‑solving processes to address complex issues
