KCI Technologies is seeking an experienced Site/Civil Engineer or Landscape Architect to join our Land Development team in the Mid-Atlantic region. This role is ideal for a licensed professional who enjoys managing projects and teams, navigating the regulatory process, and contributing to the continued growth of a collaborative and well-established practice.
What You ll Do
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, landscape architects, and designers delivering high-quality civil/site designs
- Oversee the full project lifecycle—from initial site visits and concept development through zoning and planning coordination, permitting, and construction documents
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients across commercial, mixed-use, retail, industrial, energy, and other land development projects
- Collaborate with the Practice Leader to grow the business by strengthening existing client relationships and developing new opportunities
- Prepare and oversee fee proposals, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to support professional growth and project success across the team
- Conduct site visits, gather existing conditions data, and perform construction inspections as needed
- Partner with project assistants on project setup, invoicing, and closeout to ensure seamless project administration
- Prepare technical reports, regulatory submittals, and client deliverables with a high level of quality and professionalism
What We re Looking For
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Landscape Architect (RLA) license (required)
- Proven experience in land development engineering design, permitting, and regulatory processes
- Demonstrated success managing projects, teams, and client relationships
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
- Experience preparing fee proposals and managing project financials
- A passion for mentoring and developing future engineering and design professionals

Skills Required:
* Bachelor s Degree in related field (AEC Industry) and minimum of 4 years of related professional experience, or 8 years of equivalent professional experience.
