IOP Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at Becks Woods in Bear, DE.

This is a casual/per diem position; hours will be as needed. Start and end times will vary from Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM‑7:00 PM and weekends.

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and promptly
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed
• Travel to additional sites when required

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist

• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience

• In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency
• Proven track record of exceptional customer service
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test

• For employees regularly scheduled 20+ hours per week:
