Delaware Hospice is actively seeking a full‑time Palliative Medical Assistant. Schedule will be Monday‑Friday 8am‑4:30pm.

The Palliative Medical Assistant will provide clinical and administrative support and coordination assistance to the Palliative Care team. Responsibilities include chart preparation, document compliance, and ensuring day‑to‑day operations run efficiently. Assist in assessing additional needs as directed by Palliative Care providers and the Practice Manager.

Qualifications
  • Current Medical Assistant certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory or home‑visit setting preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office and the EMR system
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to triage and prioritize patient needs, multitask, and be self‑directed
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Coordination of schedules for team members and communication with the Referral Center
