Front Desk Concierge
The Front Desk Concierge is the first point of contact for every Mandara Spa guest and plays a vital role in shaping the overall spa experience. This position is responsible for delivering a warm, professional welcome, managing appointments and guest flow, and supporting the team in achieving service excellence and retail goals. The ideal candidate is polished, organized, and genuinely passionate about guest satisfaction.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Greet and check in guests in a warm, professional manner consistent with Mandara Spa standards
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using the spa's booking system (Book4
Time experience highly desirable) - Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries with courtesy, accuracy, and efficiency
- Provide guests with full orientation to spa facilities, services, and current promotions
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and accurately close out guest transactions at point of sale
- Promote and upsell spa services, packages, and retail products to support revenue goals
- Coordinate communication between front desk and treatment staff to ensure seamless guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the front desk and reception area at all times
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned
- Handle guest concerns professionally, resolving issues promptly and escalating to management when appropriate
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a front desk, reception, or customer service role; spa or hospitality experience a plus
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with point of sale systems;

Time knowledge highly desirable - Computer literate with proficient typing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook mail and calendar, Word, Excel)
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Sales-motivated with a positive, team-player attitude
- Responsible, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience in a luxury spa, hotel, or resort environment
- Familiarity with Elemis or other professional spa product lines
- Bilingual a plus
