PURPOSEAND SUMMARY STATEMENT
Implement and coordinate Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance programs for GROWMARK, FS, LLC.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSEvaluate, develop and Implement EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies and programs.
Provide EHS guidance to local management of GROWMARK FS, LLC.
Conduct EPA, OSHA, DOT, and DHS audit procedures and programs to effectively monitor the EHS performance and compliance levels of GROWMARK FS, LLC.
Perform EHS compliance inspections and recommend improvements of conditions at GROWMARK FS, LLC facilities.
Provide training and communications to local GROWMARK FS, LLC facility management to enhance understanding of proper EHS compliance practices and to mitigate EHS impacts to persons and property.
Coordinate online compliance training for GROWMARK FS, LLC employees, run completion status reports, and assist to provide training for Safety Coordinators utilizing LMS for employee training.
Provide training of GROWMARK FS, LLC employees to assist local GROWMARK FS, LLC facility management to be in compliance with established EHS regulatory programs and procedures.
Conduct schools for GROWMARK FS, LLC, including OSHA 10‑Hour, HAZWOPER, Supervisor, driver safety, and applicator training programs.
Monitor EHS laws and regulations which may impact compliance programs.
Respond to crisis related emergencies.
Conduct accident investigations and develop procedures for correction and/or prevention.
Provide assistance and direction to local GROWMARK FS, LLC facility management in the area of EHS.
Participate with environmental team to complete the FRP Spill Management for petroleum terminals.
Coordinate and support compliance with environmental permitting programs, including stormwater (NPDES) permits
, Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) plans, and other applicable environmental permits.
Conduct or assist in training of local emergency response teams to protect the resources of the community.
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with GROWMARK, Inc. safety, insurance, and environmental personnel.
Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTSNormally requires a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety discipline or equivalent and up to 5 years of EHS related experience.
Demonstrate essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Understanding and experience with safety, health, compliance, and accident prevention programs.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to achieve results through others.
Proven training experience and skills.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated analytical, planning, organization, problem-solving, time management, and “attention to detail” skills.
Proven team building skills and the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proven computer skills including Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook and the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Requires the ability to obtain and maintain an OSHA and Hazwoper certification.
Requires a valid and acceptable driver’s license and ability to travel independently and overnight.
