Key Account Director – Responsibilities- Own the overall account relationship, driving net‑new revenue and ensuring customer success.
- Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision‑makers and influencers.
- Align Cloudera domain products and service experts to key customer stakeholders, while maintaining account oversight.
- Lead large‑scale sales cycles and transactions.
- Meet regularly with the account to generate new Cloudera demand and net‑new pipeline.
- Forecast the business, lead the internal team and communicate key updates.
- Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription and cloud consumption.
- Minimum 10+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience selling to the financial services vertical, including accounts such as American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, Capital One and London Stock Exchange.
- AI proficiency and understanding of the impact AI will have on businesses.
- Experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering, data warehousing, containers, Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure technology.
- Four‑year degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited university.
- Ability to travel.
