Key Account Director – Responsibilities
  • Own the overall account relationship, driving net‑new revenue and ensuring customer success.
  • Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels: executive sponsors, decision‑makers and influencers.
  • Align Cloudera domain products and service experts to key customer stakeholders, while maintaining account oversight.
  • Lead large‑scale sales cycles and transactions.
  • Meet regularly with the account to generate new Cloudera demand and net‑new pipeline.
  • Forecast the business, lead the internal team and communicate key updates.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual goals for new software subscription and cloud consumption.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10+ years of exceeding enterprise software sales targets.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience selling to the financial services vertical, including accounts such as American Express, Master Card, Visa, Discover, Capital One and London Stock Exchange.
  • AI proficiency and understanding of the impact AI will have on businesses.
  • Experience in data management, data analytics, data engineering, data warehousing, containers, Kubernetes and public cloud infrastructure technology.
  • Four‑year degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited university.
  • Ability to travel.
