General Manager - Pest Control

Overview

The Shield Co. Management / Eco Shield Pest Solutions is one of the fastest-growing pest control companies in the country. The Branch Manager oversees daily operations, ensuring alignment with business goals, sales targets, and KPIs while fostering a high-performance, inclusive work environment. The role includes recruiting, training, and developing staff, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulations, handling escalated customer issues, upholding service standards, and maximizing branch profitability and performance.

The position is on-site and reports to New Castle, DE.

• Oversee daily branch operations and performance, ensuring alignment with business goals, sales targets, revenue budgets, and KPIs.
• Recruit, train, and develop management and staff, ensuring all employees are well-versed in safety protocols, company policies, and procedures, with training records properly maintained.
• Ensure branch compliance with local, state, and industry regulations, including licensing requirements, safety standards, and business laws.
• Handle escalated customer issues and incidents, uphold company service standards, and work to maximize branch profitability and overall performance.

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 2+ years of management experience in pest control.
• Must have state-required pest control operator licensing.
• Must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with 3+ consecutive years of driving history, as driving a company vehicle is an essential function of this role.

• Weekly pay – get paid every Friday.
• This position offers a salary range of ($85,000 - $105,000) annually, with additional compensation opportunities.

• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl to access tight spaces such as basements and attics.
• Capable of regularly lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally heavier.
• Requires clear vision for both close and distant tasks, with adjustable focus.
• Must be able to stand for long periods, perform physical tasks, and manage repetitive motions.
• Exposure to pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and structural hazards; safety gear required.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.
