Material Handler - Fork Lift Operator - 2nd Shift

Description

Arcadia Beverage, in Arden, NC, is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles.

We are currently looking for (2) energetic, dedicated and flexible, Material Handler (Fork Lift Operators) to join our outstanding team! (1) Material Handler (Line Puller) will be moving finished good pallets from production into the refrigerated warehouse (35 degrees). (1) Material Handler (Loader) will be mainly loading trucks. Both roles also includes GMP cleaning responsibilities, inventory counting and computer usage. The positions would be Full Time (at least 40 hours per week) with the opportunity for Overtime, depending on plant volume and candidate's willingness to be flexible with schedule.

Both positions have the potential to cross-train as the other.

Line Puller base

Schedule:

• a. Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday - 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (40 hours)
• b. Additional Potential Days:
  Wednesday or Saturday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (depends on plant volume)

Overtime Opportunities Available

Loader base

Schedule:

• a. Sunday – Tuesday 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Wednesday 7:00 AM – 1:30 PM (40 hours)
• b. Additional Potential Days:
  Wednesday (full day) / Thursday – Saturday (depending on plant volume)

Overtime Opportunities Available

• Move finished goods pallets from production into the warehouse or from warehouse into trucks.
• Operate manual and auto pallet wrappers.
• Monitor label application accuracy on finished pallets.
• Use RF Scanners and ERP system to move and enter data.
• (Loaders) Prepare and process shipping paperwork and interact w/ truck drivers.
• Prepare and take periodic cycle count inventory.
• Identify and rework damaged materials.
• Weekly warehouse and equipment cleaning tasks as directed.

• Forklift certification and experience or willingness to learn. Minimum of one year of forklift experience preferred.
