Summary of Position:
To support and co‑labor with the Lead Pastor in shepherding a Biltmore Church campus; creating an environment that makes disciples of Jesus who reach up, reach in, and reach out.
- Partner with the Lead Pastor to shepherd and care for the assigned campus, owning, modeling, and implementing the vision, values, strategy, and theology of Biltmore Church.
- Provide gospel clarity through pastoral moments, benedictions, group settings/trainings, and other teaching opportunities as requested.
- Work alongside Central Leads to promote gospel unity and cohesiveness through meetings, training, coaching, and by utilizing centrally developed resources and processes.
- Execute Sunday services and weekday ministries with excellence, ensuring every Reach Team has a qualified leader present.
- Continuously capture stories of God at work and share them with staff to celebrate the church’s impact.
- Make disciples through participation in ministries and events such as Groups, Baptism, Starting Points, Reach Teams, and Sunday message responses.
- Develop and train all leadership roles across the campus, including Group leaders, Care Team Leaders, and Deacons.
- Serve as the point person for all Groups, ensuring ongoing recruitment, equipping, health, accurate attendance, and group finder listings.
- Provide pastoral care—prayer, shepherding appointments, encouragement, hospital and home visits, discipline, counseling, weddings, and funerals—while following church policies and procedures.
- Lead, care, and manage the campus staff, guiding their spiritual growth and ensuring ministry standards through weekly team meetings and monthly one‑on‑one meetings.
- Lead a Connect Group for personal and family spiritual development.
- Collaborate with the CFO on the campus budget and maintain frequent communication with the Executive Pastor of Campuses & Discipleship.
- Assist and support the Lead Pastor and Executive Team, as requested, in all aspects of ministry.
- Strong partnership with the Lead Pastor, modeling and implementing church vision, values, and theology.
- Growing relationship with Christ with a proven track record of sound judgment and character.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Faithful support of Biltmore Church ministries through biblical generosity and personal example.
- Initiative and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading and supervising high‑capacity leaders.
- Highly relational with the ability to recruit, train, and motivate volunteers toward clear expectations.
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast‑paced, Kingdom‑mindful setting, including proficiency with technology such as computers, phones, and databases.
- Preferred:
Minimum 3 years of experience and a seminary degree.
