Job Overview

Christiana Care is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work on unit 7E. This Surgical Spine and knee and hip replacement unit offers a unique and exciting specialty consisting of a variety of patient populations and experiences. Christiana Care offers one of the most advanced, cutting‑edge spine care programs in the United States. Through our experience and ongoing research, we continue to advance the standard of care to provide the best outcomes for all our spine patients by providing post‑operative care.

The program includes a 30‑bed unit within Christiana Hospital that provides comprehensive care for people suffering from cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine disorders. Conditions treated include degenerative diseases, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, tumors, and spinal‑cord injuries. Registered Nurses work with physicians assistants and have a dedicated Nurse Practitioner.

• Prefers at least 1–2 years of medical/surgical experience
• BLS required

This is a full‑time flex position (72 hours per pay period). Hours are 7p.m. – 7:30a.m. Requirements include a weekend commitment based upon tenure with Christiana Care and two holidays per year.

Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 – $66.05. This pay rate/range represents Christiana Care’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including, without limitation, skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
