Pain Management Nurse Practitioner

Advanced Spine and Pain Centers is seeking a certified Nurse Practitioner for our Delaware, Virginia, and Baltimore offices. Candidates with previous experience in pain management and/or orthopedics are highly desirable. Nurse Practitioner must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with current license to practice in the State of Virginia. • Conduct thorough physical examination of patients presenting with pain-related concerns.
• Review patient’s medical history.
• Administer and monitor medication management for pain relief, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Consult with other providers before deciding on a therapy or treatment program to help patients manage their pain.
• Use knowledge and pain management skills to find effective non‑invasive treatment options.
• Perform joint injections.
• Provide patient education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications and self‑care strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of pain management through continuous learning and professional development.

• Must have an active VA/MD license.
• Previous experience in the field of pain management is preferred.
• Excellent clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating a high level of autonomy in decision‑making.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
