The Dispensing Nurse is responsible for creating a welcoming and healing environment by providing quality, sufficient and appropriate clinical services and maintaining high professional standards.
As a Dispensing Nurse with BCCS, you will:
- Be primarily involved in dispensing methadone, a medication long known for its effectiveness in treating opiate addiction.
- Assist with intake process.
- Participate in treatment planning meetings.
- Follow-up on all medical referrals and record actions.
- Facilitate detox entry with proper referral.
Qualifications for this position are:
- Currently a licensed registered (RN) or practical nurse (LPN) in the state of Delaware.
Schedule:
Minimal requirement: 2 Saturdays per month - 05:30 a.m.
- 09:30 a.m.
Additional hours are available every day during dispensing time if the candidate is interested.
Pay:
LPN:
Starting at $30/hour.
RN:
Starting at $40/hour.
