Location: Milford

Milford Center - a Genesis Health Care skilled nursing and rehab facility in Milford, DE - is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care. In this on-site role, you will assist with daily living activities, mobility, hygiene, and meals, while monitoring vital signs and promptly reporting changes to licensed nurses. CNAs support short-term rehab, long-term care, and memory care residents, helping them maintain dignity, comfort, and independence.

You'll work with in a collaborative, mission-driven team, follow individualized care plans, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to grow your clinical skills and career.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper safety techniques
  • Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and report changes to nursing staff
  • Support residents during meals, feeding as needed, and following dietary plans
  • Maintain clean, safe resident rooms and common areas per infection control standards
  • Document care provided accurately in electronic or paper records
  • Support restorative and rehabilitation activities as directed by the care team
  • Communicate respectfully with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Follow care plans, facility policies, and all regulatory and safety requirements
  • Participate in in-service training, skills checks, and ongoing education
