Senior Accountant

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their career. This role supports a high-volume manufacturing environment specializing in precision-formed metal products. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting operational leaders across manufacturing, engineering, sales, and production.

• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure all entries are timely, accurate, and properly supported
• Prepare financial results and analysis for management review

• Maintain the accuracy of inventory through monthly reconciliation of perpetual inventory and financial records
• Participate in inventory costing, valuation, and product cost analyses
• Provide pricing support to Marketing and Engineering as needed

• Record, track, and monitor fixed assets
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, projections, and analytical models

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of accounting regulations, including US GAAP and IFRS frameworks
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll entries and related accruals

• Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, engineering, and production teams on financial issues and initiatives
• Assist with special projects that improve efficiencies, enhance reporting, and strengthen internal processes
• Communicate regularly with external partners such as banks and vendors

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, ideally seeking your next step into a senior-level role
• Understanding of month-end closing processes
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• High attention to detail and excellent communication abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and work independently
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
