LHH is supporting our client in their search for an Accounting Assistant to join their team in Delaware, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties. You will support the business growth and accounting department by reconciling company accounts, preparing financial reports, calculating commission and assisting with entries into Quick Books. This position will give you the opportunity to grow your accounting knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities- Generate profit and loss statements
- Assist with the annual budget preparation
- Calculate commissions for sales individuals
- Bank reconciliation for 10+ accounts
- Prepare weekly payroll reports
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
- 1-3 years' of experience working in Accounting
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented
