Location: Delaware, OH
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday-Friday / Day Shift
Pay: $18.00 to $25.00 /hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team. If you have strong diagnostic abilities, take pride in your work, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair cars, trucks, and SUVs efficiently and accurately
- Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
- Repair and replace brakes, suspension components, steering systems, and exhaust systems
- Conduct engine diagnostics and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle problems
- Perform transmission, cooling system, and HVAC repairs
- Complete vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and proper performance
- Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation
- Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards
- Assist with shop maintenance and other duties as assigned
- Previous automotive repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ASE certifications are a plus
