As an Associate Dentist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. In this role, you will diagnose and treat a variety of dental issues, perform routine check-ups and cleanings, educate patients on oral health, and create tailored treatment plans.
Your expertise in pain management and commitment to infection control protocols will ensure top‑notch patient care in a friendly and professional environment.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- State licensure to practice dentistry
- Valid CPR Certification
- Proficient in dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Knowledge of dental office systems and protocols
- Examine patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues.
- Utilize X-rays and computer‑generated imaging to assist with examinations.
- Provide dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity, and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers.
- Administer local anesthesia to patients as needed.
- Educate patients on good oral hygiene practices and advise them on proper aftercare following certain dental procedures.
- Perform oral cancer screenings.
- Prescribe antibiotics and pain medications to patients as required.
- Ensure that all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized before each use.
- Take impressions of patients' mouths for the fabrication of customized mouthguards and dentures.
