Primary Job Function:

• The Delaware Area Career Center Adult Education Teacher is responsible for planning and developing student skills sufficient to qualify them for entry-level employment. The Adult Ed teacher will help students identify goals and make appropriate choices. This is done through student‑faculty engagement, fostering cooperation between classmates, active listening, timely feedback, high expectations and respecting diverse talents and learning styles of all students and other colleagues.

• Seeking multiple Advanced Manufacturing Instructors that have industry experience and knowledge in at least one of the areas listed below.
• PLC Programming - programming and troubleshooting. (Rockwell Automation (Allen‑Bradley), Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, or similar)
• Robotics - programming and maintenance (FANUC, ABB, or Yaskawa)
• Electrical/Industrial Controls - AC/DC electrical fundamentals, electrical control troubleshooting and wiring practices, motor controls, familiar with common electrical components
• Fluid Power - pneumatic and hydraulic fundamentals and theory, installing and troubleshooting pneumatic systems
• Automation Systems - integration and knowledge of PLC, Robotics, Motion Control and Fluid Power components to form an automated process
• Safety - OSHA 10 or 30‑hour General Industry Card
• Maintenance/Controls - PMMI Mechatronics, NIMS Industrial Technology Maintenance
• Valid Ohio Teacher's License and/or Adult Education Permit or ability to obtain
• Licenses approved by State Board of Education for the purpose of teaching Adult Education
