The Supervisor of Special Education will lead and manage the district’s special education programs for the 2026/2027 school year.
Responsibilities- Work calendar follows a 225-day schedule for the 2026/2027 school year.
- Oversee the implementation of inclusive special education services for district students.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the special education department and coordinate with teachers, intervention specialists, and staff.
- Ensure compliance with special education law, rules, and procedures.
- Provide professional development and support to special education teachers, intervention specialists, and alternative education staff.
- OTES credential preferred or must be obtained.
- Knowledge of special education law, rules, and procedures required.
- Experience as an intervention specialist and as a principal or assistant principal preferred.
