Aerospace Science Instructor
Unit: OH-12 About Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps AFJROTC is a citizenship program for students in grades 9 through 12. Our OH-12 unit is based at Rutherford
B. Hayes High School in Delaware, Ohio. It is one of over 870 units operating in high school locations worldwide. There are more than 120,000 high school cadets in the program and over 1,900 retired USAF officer and enlisted professionals who lead, mentor, guide, and teach our cadets.
We are seeking a highly motivated instructor to help with continuing to lead and grow the Delaware County AFJROTC Program. If you want to continue to serve and make positive impacts in the lives of our high school students, then please consider applying to be an AFJROTC instructor. Eligible Air Force Retirees (Majors Colonels and TSgts CMSgts with a 4-year degree) and gray are retirees who have a passion for mentoring youth are encouraged to apply.

Basic Information: 186 Work Day Calendar Delaware City Teachers Association Bargaining Unit Full Benefit Package Offered Salary Scale Placement based on teaching experience and education New Staff Orientation Required 10 Month Contract; health, vision and dental insurance offerings; retirement benefits; placement on teacher salary scale depending on teaching experience and education level. Supplemental contract opportunities, include drill team and other opportunities along with extended time for Ohio Valley Leadership Summer Program will be available.
