Design Engineer – Project Engineer (On‑site Only)

We are seeking a Design Engineer – Project Engineer (On‑site Only).

• Generate detailed drawings for shop production, including assembly drawings, machining drawings, and weldment assemblies.
• Research, plan, and design mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic products and systems.
• Apply design and drafting standards.
• Apply machine design and engineering practices to incorporate various types of drives, both electric and hydraulic.
• Utilize clear, concise, and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills.

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 3–7 years of experience required.
• Proficiency in Solid Works.
• Machine design experience.
• Understanding of weldment drawings and machining tolerances.
• Good understanding of engineering design concepts and material properties.
• Experience with ERP systems;
  Net Suite preferred.
• Hydraulic power unit design experience preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Ability to receive and retain instructions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Inside office environment with average noise levels. No personal protective equipment required except for occasional visits to the shop.

Low physical effort required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift, and walk; typing and reading computer and data entry.
