Great Direct Hire opportunity for an Hands-on Electrical Engineer to join an established, privately owned manufacturer in Delaware, Ohio!
The Electrical Engineer will work as part of a small, multi-disciplinary engineering team to lead electrical control systems design, development, testing, and launch of electromechanical systems, assemblies and subcomponents used in precision load-handling systems and automated vertical position systems. The Electrical Engineer will design schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, control systems including microcontrollers, motor controls, brake controls and similar. Electrical Engineer will drive design improvements to current products to enhance safety, usability, reliability and customer experience.
This position will collaborate with client's manufacturing, supply chain, quality and suppliers. This is full cycle engineering from design to development to test to manufacture and commissioning.
Salary range will be $100-$130k + bonus and benefits.
To be successful in this role the Electrical Engineer will have:
-4+ yrs experience in electrical design and testing, specifically in embedded controls design and testing
-Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineer or related
-Strong understanding of control systems, motor control, power electronics and safety-related control architectures
-Integration experience to include embedded firmware with electrical hardware and mechanical systems.
-Experience in Manufacturing for Vertical Mobility Systems, Precision Load-Management Systems, High-Torque Actuation Systems or similar Industrial Motion Control/Automated Material Handling
