Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, elderly support, or working with individuals with disabilities. This role involves delivering personalized care to promote independence, safety, and well-being, while maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach. Experience in various care settings such as assisted living, nursing homes, or home health is highly valued.

- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and observe patient conditions, including vital signs and behavioral changes
- Medication reminders
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Support clients with memory care needs such as Alzheimer’s or dementia through specialized techniques
- Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling devices safely
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and patient progress
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks like cleaning to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Support clients during outings or community activities as needed
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans
- Proven experience in group homes, assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care environments
- Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in condition or behavior
- Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- Ability to assist with complex mobility tasks using equipment like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate approach with patience for working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and assist with transfers safely
- Basic cooking skills for meal preparation aligned with dietary restrictions
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certifications if needed
- Experience supporting seniors or individuals requiring long-term or hospice care is advantageous
