Delaware, OH 43015 (Near Ohio Wesleyan University)
Schedule- Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)
- Saturdays:
Hours TBD - 20–25 hours per week
- Full-time hours available during the summer
- Provide consistent, one‑on‑one care in home and community settings
- Support feeding and fine motor skills during meals
- Assist with speech and communication, including use of a communication device
- Encourage developmental growth through play‑based activities and routines
- Supervise outings to parks and outdoor spaces
- Promote independence while maintaining a safe, supportive environment
- Previous experience supporting children with special needs is a plus
- Experience with Down syndrome, feeding delays, speech development, or AAC devices strongly preferred
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Enjoys being active, engaging, and building meaningful relationships
- Comfortable working closely with a single‑parent household
