Job Overview
We are seeking an EHR System Analyst! Central, OH. Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community‑mindful, forward‑looking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and wellbeing. We meet people in their homes and communities and connect them to resources across Southeast and Central Ohio. The EHR System Analyst supports daily use, functionality, and optimization of the Electronic Health Record system, providing frontline support to providers and staff, assisting with training, and participating in testing and implementation of new features and system improvements.
CompensationThe pay range for this position is $54,000.00–$69,000.00 annually, based on experience, education, and/or licensure.
Essential Functions- Provide daily support to end users across clinical and operational teams in the use of the EHR system, including basic troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Triage system issues, resolving those within scope and escalating more complex issues to the Senior EHR System Analyst or vendor as appropriate.
- Serve as the point of contact for user questions and routine technical assistance.
- Assist in maintaining EHR workflows, templates, and documentation standards as directed by the Managing Director of IT.
- Perform initial testing of minor changes, updates, or enhancements to the EHR system.
- Support documentation of processes, updates, and user guides.
- Coordinate with HR and assist in delivering initial EHR training to new staff and providers.
- Provide routine refresher training and user support for existing staff.
- Assist with creating basic training and communication materials for new features or updates.
- Assist with testing new features, upgrades, and patches following structured testing plans established by the Senior EHR System Analyst.
- Provide day‑of go‑live support to staff during system updates or functionality changes.
- Help prepare and distribute basic announcement documentation for changes to the EHR affecting users.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with internal teams and the EHR vendor regarding support tickets and system issues.
- Work with clinical staff and providers to understand routine system concerns and improvement opportunities, escalating when appropriate.
- Participate in relevant training and meetings to remain current on EHR system functionality.
- Contribute to departmental projects as assigned by the Managing Director of IT.
- Travel within the designated service area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education/Licensure: A high school degree or GED equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in Health Information Technology, Informatics, Computer Science or related fields is preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience supporting an EHR system in a behavioral health or healthcare setting is required. One year of prior experience with the Care Logic or Next Gen EHR is preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and appropriate level of auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to manage deadlines within a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Ability to operate in an Internet‑based, automated office environment.
• Ability to maintain a high‑speed internet connection. - Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
