Entry Level Logistics Coordinator -Parts Manufacturer

An international automotive manufacturing company is currently searching for an experienced Entry Level Logistics Coordinator to join their company in the Delaware, Ohio area. The ideal candidate has at least 1-3 years of logistics and supply chain coordination in the automotive industry. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

• Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
• Prepare and file Domestic and International Export / Import documentation
• Responsible for packing for export shipments
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments
• Provide necessary reports to management
• Perform other job duties as needed

• Associates’ degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• Shipping, Receiving Freight Forwarder, Logistics experience is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
• Advanced level of Microsoft EXCEL skill is required
• Must be able to work responsibly, effectively, and independently when needed
• Teamwork skills are a MUST!
• Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
• Organizational and time management skills
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
