Job Description
General Manager – Delaware, OH. Plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client normally generating $2-15M+ in revenue to meet operating and financial goals, client objectives, and customer needs.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $105,000 to $115,000 per year. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings (401(k)), paid leave (parental leave, disability coverage), and other work/life resources. Eligibility and specific benefits vary by location.
Job Responsibilities- Lead a team that provides operational expertise in contracted services while managing day‑to‑day operations.
- Manage client and community relationships, continually assessing operations and developing plans to provide optimal service and drive employee and customer satisfaction.
- Build, develop, and lead a management team capable of carrying out organizational objectives.
- Recommend methods, resources, and implementation plans for service improvement and growth based on operational needs, capabilities, and contractual obligations.
- Partner with Finance to manage a budget and design improvements that optimize financial performance and operational productivity.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations; maintain all associated records and reports.
- Maintain compliance with Aramark’s standards of operation, safety standards, and Business Conduct Policy at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, Business Management, or related field (highly preferred).
- Strong focus on client and customer service, entrepreneurship, and building a strong business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with clients, senior management, and support staff.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement contractual requirements; identify opportunities within contract terms to address operational issues.
- Significant experience in the service industry, contract services, or hospitality environment.
- Proven ability to lead through other managers.
- Experience creating and managing a departmental budget and performing financial controls and analysis.
- Experience crafting product sales strategies and implementing operational programs and initiatives.
May require lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and wearing uniforms or personal protective equipment (PPE).
