Assembler & Equipment Operator, 2nd Shift

Assembler/Equipment Operator –

Location:

Delaware, OH (on‑site). 2nd shift Monday – Thursday (4:00 pm–2:30 am). Training on 1st shift (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am‑4:30 pm). Pay: $21.00 per hour plus $0.75 shift differential. Pay schedule: biweekly.

• Follow production orders, company procedures and directions from supervisor; prepare parts and assemble components into assemblies.
• Perform assembly operations using power tools or specialized equipment to produce pressure vessels and heat exchangers.
• Prepare parts for assembly by grinding, blasting, cutting of metals, etc.
• Execute assembly in accordance with company’s procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment in proper functioning status by applying preventative maintenance as per instructions.
• Propose new methods, procedures, or equipment to improve efficiency and/or quality.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Ability to regularly lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Experience using standard hand and power tools such as drills, grinders, etc.
• Proactive in proposing solutions.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand fractions, decimals, and measurement techniques.
