Quality Sorter

What you’ll be doing: QA Sorter

Performs sorting inspections, either manually or through the use of inspection equipment as assigned. Support general quality inspection process. Quality Sorting is a manufacturing environment and maintains good housekeeping practices for a clean workplace.

• Identify defective material and/or product with assistance if needed.
• Make decisions as to acceptability of appearance and performance with assistance if necessary.
• May be assigned to perform specialized sorts to determine conformance to specific specifications.
• May assist with counting and packing of product.
• Responsible for general housekeeping of work area. Maintains safe working conditions and conducts oneself in a way that does not endanger oneself or fellow employees.
• Responsible to keep supervisor informed of work‑related problems and the progress of work assignments.

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to hold parts and gauges with both hands. Must be able to lift up to 1 lb. at a time with both hands.
• May be required to lift up to 40 lbs. maximum assistance will be provided if needed.
• Must be able to read, write, and count.
