Position

Pressure Vessel Welder Level I, II, III

Location

Delaware, OH (fully on site)

Compensation

Starting pay: $28.23/hr (adjusted based on experience and qualifications)

Schedule & Training

Schedule:

2nd shift Monday – Thursday 4:00 pm – 2:30 am

Training will be on 1st Shift (up to 4 weeks):
Monday – Thursday 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

Pay schedule: bi‑weekly

Responsibilities
  • Follow the production orders, prepare parts and weld components into assemblies.
  • Execute welds in accordance with company procedures and documents, while meeting defined quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
  • Properly maintain tools and equipment assigned to perform duties.
  • Identify and implement safety improvements.
Qualifications Level I
  • At least 1–3 years experience or commensurate education from trade school.
  • Capability of MIG and TIG welding of parts and pipe, but not yet certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
Level II
  • At least 3+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels.
  • Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard – certified with the company for welding of parts under pressure.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve minor issues related to fitting and welding components.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
Level III
  • At least 5+ years experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified experience).
  • Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard.
  • Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings, and teach others to do so.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fitting and welding components.
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork.
  • Methodical, organized, and precise.
  • Proactive in proposing solutions.
