Delaware, Ohio Full-Time | Multiple Shifts Available Competitive Pay | Based on Experience Ōnin Staffing is hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a growing manufacturing facility in the Newark/Johnstown area! If you enjoy staying active, operating equipment safely, and keeping production moving, we want to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
- Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
- Transport raw materials to production lines and remove finished goods to storage areas
- Move, stack, and organize palletized products
- Verify product labels, quantities, and identification before moving materials
- Break down loads for LTL shipments and relabel orders as needed
- Assist with receiving and verifying incoming shipments
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance concerns
- Examine products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe storage areas
- Empty trash hoppers and assist with general housekeeping duties
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
Skills and Experience
1+ years of forklift experience preferred Roll Clamp forklift experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good organizational and problem-solving skills High School Diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on seasonal conditions
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment for extended periods
