Role Description

This full-time Machine Operator role is an on-site position based in Delaware, OH. The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring converting and related machinery to meet production schedules and quality standards. Daily tasks include loading materials, performing routine equipment checks, adjusting machine settings, and using hand tools for minor adjustments or changeovers. The role also involves inspecting finished products for defects, documenting production data, and communicating with supervisors and team members to resolve issues and maintain a safe, organized work area.

The Machine Operator is expected to follow all safety and quality procedures and collaborate with coworkers to support efficient, continuous operations.

Qualifications
  • Strong machine operation skills with experience working safely around industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices, including visual inspection and basic measurement techniques.
  • Ability to use common hand tools for machine adjustments, maintenance support, and material handling.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors and team members on production activities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior manufacturing or converting industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and maintaining an organized work environment.
  • Willingness to work assigned shifts, including possible overtime, based on production needs.
