We are seeking a licensed veterinarian who has a passion for animal health and welfare to join our award-winning practice.
We are a community-focused and mission-driven animal welfare organization with a focus on accessible/affordable high quality medical care. Our hospital is fast-paced and high-volume. Our services include high-volume spay/neuter, routine wellness, urgent/emergency care, dental care and surgery, radiology, in-house diagnostics, general and emergency surgery, 24 hour inpatient care/hospitalization, end-of-life care/hospice and euthanasia, and more. We are well known for the exceptional customer service and medical care we provide.
In seven years of business we have established ourselves as one of central Ohio’s leading veterinary hospitals seven years in a row and have gained national recognition as a leader for our spay/neuter program.
This position will be focused primarily on the surgical side of the practice with a specialty in high-volume spay/neuter; however, some outpatient/inpatient care is required to meet the needs of our clients/patients. Candidate must be trained in high-quality high-volume spay/neuter or be willing and able to go through in depth training, including a week in North Carolina with the ASPCA.
Experienced veterinarians are preferred; however, new graduates are welcome to apply (with the understanding that following the initial training period there will be little opportunity for structured mentorship and salary will be adjusted to accommodate the in-depth training required to achieve high-volume high-quality status).
Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4:00 (or until surgery/responsibilities are completed).
Current benefits offered:
- Fully Paid Medical, Dental, Vision Plans + Life Insurance Policy
- 6 paid holidays
- Paid vacation time
- AVMA, OVMA, PLIT, DEA fees paid
- Continuing Education credit
- Free personal pet care
- Technology and uniform allowance
Please submit resume and cover letter.
