Quality Assurance Manager

Role:

We are seeking a Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead all quality assurance and food safety programs. This role is responsible for consistently implementing more efficient process and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and company standards.

• Lead Quality Assurance and Food Safety programs, including HACCP, GMP, allergen control, sanitation, and BRC/SQF compliance.
• Maintain audit readiness and lead internal, customer, and third‑party audits.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve quality systems and performance.
• Monitor quality metrics and communicate trends and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
• Support new product launches, material qualifications, process validations, and production startups.
• Establish quality standards for raw materials, in‑process production, and finished goods.
• Lead, coach, and develop the quality team while fostering a culture of food safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Manage supplier quality programs and support supplier/co‑packer qualifications.
• Investigate customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as a key contact for quality‑related customer inquiries and issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Packaging Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Experience leading quality and food safety programs within a food, beverage, packaging, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety regulations, audit management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive results.
