In-Home Appliance and Refrigeration Service Technician

Your day in this role Start your morning in Delaware, OH, 43015, load up your well-organized company vehicle, and head out to help homeowners get their essential appliances back to peak performance. Every stop is a new puzzle: one hour you’re reviving a refrigerator, the next you’re troubleshooting a washer that won’t spin. • Travel to multiple customer locations daily to diagnose and repair household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that consistently exceeds expectations
• Recommend value-added solutions that help keep homes clean, comfortable, and protected
• Maintain and organize your company truck; manage parts efficiently and accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned

Hourly base rate: $18 - $30, depending on experience, certification, and location

• High school diploma or GEDEPA Type I or EPA Universal certification
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with testing and repair tools
• Experience diagnosing and repairing a range of home appliances (preferred)
• Ability to follow directions and processes to ensure quality workmanship
• Comfort using a smartphone, including for ordering parts
• Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work
• Willingness to travel up to 100%
• Flexible schedule with ability to work variable hours, including required overtime
• Ability to read, understand, and apply technical documentation to solve problems and complete tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English
• Physical capability to constantly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs; frequently up to 50 lbs; and occasionally up to 100 lbs
• Ability to constantly reach outward; handle and finger objects; stand, walk, sit, and type using a keyboard
• Ability to frequently bend, squat, kneel, twist, turn, stoop, climb, and crawl
• Ability to occasionally reach above shoulder height
• Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle
• Compliance Successfully pass a background & drug screen
