Small Animal Veterinarian – Full-Time or Part-Time Limestone Veterinary Hospital | Hockessin, Delaware

Limestone Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time or part-time Small Animal Veterinarian who is looking to join a progressive, compassionate, and highly personalized single-location practice. We welcome both experienced veterinarians and new or recent graduates who are eager to learn in a collaborative, supportive environment.

About Our Practice

We are a family-owned veterinary hospital located in the affluent community of Hockessin, Delaware, with convenient access to Philadelphia, Baltimore, the Pocono Mountains, Delaware beaches, and the New Jersey shore.

Our schedule is designed to support a healthy work-life balance. In addition to weekday appointments, we offer limited Saturday hours and evening appointments until 7:00 p.m. (6:00 p.m. on Fridays). Associates typically enjoy a two-hour midday break for lunch, client communications, and medical records, and are usually able to leave shortly after appointments conclude.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer an outstanding compensation package that includes:

  • Base salary starting at $140,000
  • $10,000 signing bonus
  • Generous Pro Sal compensation with no negative accrual
  • Associates typically earn well above their base salary while working fewer than 40 hours per week

Our Medical Practice

We emphasize high-quality medicine with a strong focus on:

  • Diagnostic ultrasound
  • General soft tissue surgery
  • Limited orthopedic surgery

In addition to medical services, we also offer boarding, doggy daycare, and grooming.

Board-certified radiologists and specialists interpret our radiographs and ultrasounds through telemedicine services. We also provide overnight hospitalization with a technician in attendance to ensure exceptional patient care.
