Culinary Patient Ambassador

Job Description

Location:

Bayhealth – Kent Campus (United States) Pay: $16.00 per hour (Hourly Plan)

Work Shift:

Based on facility's needs; 12‑hour shifts 6:30AM–6:30PM (Full‑time and part‑time positions available)

• Assist patients with menu selection and deliver meals in a timely fashion.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure patient satisfaction.
• Ensure each patient receives an accurate meal that matches their order and diet requirements.
• Deliver and collect patient menus in a timely manner.
• Prepare cold and hot items and condiments for meal times.
• Adhere to the facility’s health and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform.
• Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and provide proof of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Preferred:
  Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare).

• Prolonged standing and walking continuously.
• Frequent stooping, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
