Busser

We are looking for a motivated Bar Back / Busser to join our team! You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing table linens, setting tables, stocking and cleaning the bar area, changing kegs and rotating stock.

• Wipe tables or seats with sanitizer and a cloth.
• Set tables with clean plates, silverware, condiments, or other supplies.
• Scrape and stack dirty dishes, tableware and bus tubs to kitchens for cleaning
• Perform cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as bars or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service.

• Previous knowledge of food service regulations is preferred.
• Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks.

Compensation: $15.00 per hour

The Cantwell's Bridge Hotel and Tavern was built by prominent businessman, William Polk, in 1822 and was operated as such for the next 100 years. The simple, clean, classic Federal lines denote a sophisticated style rather than that of a "country" inn typical of small towns. Merchants, ship captains and visitors to the busy port town of Cantwell's Bridge would have found comfort in the accommodations offered at this fine establishment.

During Colonial times, most towns on busy travel routes had several taverns, and Odessa was no exception, with five taverns in addition to the beautiful Cantwell's Tavern.
